Core
Evaluates how compliance is embedded across your organisation — leadership, governance, communication, competence, and culture. The Core standard underpins all technical areas, ensuring safety and assurance are led from the top and lived throughout the business.
Gas Safety
Assesses the management of gas installations, servicing and repairs in line with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and IGEM/UP/16. Focuses on risk assessment, contractor control, competency, and evidence of compliance with DSEAR where applicable.
Electrical Safety
Reviews how electrical systems and appliances are inspected, tested, and maintained to meet BS 7671, EICR and statutory landlord obligations. Examines competence management, record-keeping, and how remedial actions are prioritised and tracked.
Fire Safety
Examines compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and related guidance. Looks at how fire risk assessments are completed, maintained, and acted upon, and how fire safety responsibilities are managed across occupied buildings.
Water Safety (Legionella)
Evaluates policies and controls for managing waterborne risks in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274. Focuses on risk assessment, monitoring, and maintenance regimes that prevent Legionella growth in domestic and communal systems.
Asbestos
Reviews compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, including survey quality, risk communication, management plans, and control of works likely to disturb asbestos-containing materials. Emphasis on protecting residents, staff and contractors.
Lifting Equipment
Assesses arrangements for compliance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and PUWER 1998. Focuses on inspection regimes, competence, and maintenance of passenger lifts, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
Damp & Mould
Assesses how damp and mould risks are identified, investigated, and resolved in line with Awaab’s Law, and emerging regulatory expectations. Reviews data use, response times, resident engagement, and long-term prevention strategies.
